The UNC Charlotte MBA is a 36-credit-hour program: the core courses (24 hours) and the elective/concentrations component (12 hours). Preparatory courses may be required for students who do not hold an undergraduate degree in business. Preparatory courses are not required for admission to the MBA Program. However, students must successfully complete courses in the preparatory courses before enrolling in 6000-level courses, except by permission of the MBA Director.

The Intermediate 1 and 2 Accounting classes must be completed at UNC Charlotte. International applicants should refer to the International Admissions website for deadlines and additional admissions information. Application Deadlines. The UNC Charlotte MACC program admits students throughout the year on a rolling basis. The Graduate School has approximately 750 members of the Regular Graduate Faculty teaching and mentoring graduate students. The mission of the Turner School of Accountancy in the Belk College of Business is to discover and disseminate knowledge essential to the practice of accounting. We prepare students for careers in professional accounting and business, seeking to foster appreciation for knowledge, intellectual growth and dedication to service. We engage in research that explores accounting theory, policy and practice. In strategic partnership with the greater Charlotte business community, we seek to prepare our students to become leaders who think critically and possess professional expertise, global awareness, and a commitment to ethical behavior.

The School of Accountancy offers programs for students at various stages of their professional accounting careers. Our programs provide conceptual and technical knowledge in the accounting and business areas, serving as a foundation for accounting career development.

The Belk College of Business is an accredited member of AACSB International—The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business ('AACSB'). In addition, the Belk College of Business undergraduate accounting program attained the supplemental accounting accreditation, displaying an elevated quality assurance system for the program. To achieve AACSB Accounting Accreditation, the Turner School of Accountancy fulfilled the criteria for the six accounting accreditation standards, which are specific to the discipline and profession of accounting.
